Chessvolt studios is a full service professional recording studio. We specialize in the
highest quality sound and music production.
The studio was built in 1997. From 2000-2005, as Autobahn Recorders, we hosted Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips,
Elliot Smith, Wolf Parade and others. Producer, guitarist, songwriter Peter Malick purchased the studio in
January of 2006. Since then, projects have included Wayne Kramer (MC5), Kenny Loggins, Broken Social Scene,
producer Paul Ebersold, Jack Mack and the Heart Attack, To Live and Die in LA, Hope Waits, Courtney Jones,
Henry Gummer and many more.
